Diving in Marsa Alam


With a stunning yellow sandy beach and a breathtaking turquoise sea, Marsa Alam is renowned as a new quiet resort overlooking the Red Sea. Like Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, Marsa Alam is listed on the top of popular diving destination in Red Sea as the visibility under water ranges from 20 meters to 60 meters, the water temperature ranges from 24°C to 30°C, and the current is moderate. Elphinstone Reef

Dolphin House (Sha’ab Samadi Reef)
As its name implies, Dolphin House is truly one of the famous dolphin habitats worldwide. While you are diving at Dolphin House, you have a great chance for swimming with the dolphins and see how they naturally react without human training.

Marsa Abu Dabab
Marsa Abu Dabab is a popular diving site in Marsa Alam, although the coral reefs are not frequently seen in this area. However, Marsa Abu Dabab is the best place to see sea turtles and dugong closely. Guitar sharks, one of the world’s rarest shark, are also spotted regularly at the diving site. 
Abu Ghoson Shipwreck
After a ship had sunk in 1993, it became the home of many types of coral and sea creatures, such as, Lion fish, Butterfly fish, Napoleons and Moray eel. Divers can swim into parts of the wreck and see the homes of the amazing sea creatures.
