The world's
greatest open air museum, Luxor lies on shore of
the Nile to become the most significant
remaining city of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
Inside the temple of Abu Simbel , the solar phenomena that
occurs twice a year, attracts thousands of tourists who used to come and watch
the unique wonder. On 22nd of February and 22ndof
October, the sun rays illuminate inside the temple and became perpendicular on
the statue of Ramses II,Amun-Re and Re-Herakhte, whereas the statue of Ptah (the god
of underworld) remain in darkness.
Beside the
temples, tombs and the remains of the ancient Egyptian city, there is the main
attraction in Luxor which was mainly the reason
of ancient civilization, the Nile . Apparently,
the Nile in Luxor is
gorgeous, that's why the Nile Cruises are so widely spread in Luxor . Tourists have the opportunity to take an
inspiring trip in the River Nile, while watching the remains of the ancient
Egyptian civilization.
Enjoy Luxor , the city of hundred gates, and walk
